Today I bought a Police Service 6, circa 1981, beautiful blued condition.
I've been a firearms enthusiast for many years. I was a member of a championship rifle team many years ago. I started collecting Civil War Colt/Remington/Whitney revolvers in the 1970s when they were affordable. I sold them all to a fellow collector (I've always regretted selling ANY of my guns, especially a black powder Colt SAA, though I have had several Colt SAAs, just one remaining in my collection, a long barrel .32-20 in excellent original numbers matching condition. I had a Ruger SP 101 that I enjoyed for years.
I have a California CCW, a rarity in Crazyfornia. I happen to live in a county where our Sheriff is very pro CCW issuance. The next time I have to qualify for my CCW I'll be including my Police Service 6.
