I've actually had the Simply Rugged holster for a few weeks, but the Barranti holsters just arrived last Monday, after a 14-month wait! Absolutely beautiful leather work, all around. I anticipate buying more from both companies.

L to R: a floral carved 120 from Simply Rugged; a floral carved w/dyed background No. 44, and an unadorned Threepersons, both from Mike 'Doc' Barranti.

Excellent work in those rigs. Doc's work is stunning when you look at the detail. I have 5 of his shucks, and I'll own more I'm sure.

Nice looking holsters, and well photographed. Would like to see a similar photograph with the guns holstered. Seems to me posed with a holstered gun would give a better view of the holster.

Bob, I agree entirely. Unfortunately, the holsters and I are in Korea, and the revolvers are in Texas and Virginia. So, maybe if you're real patient, I can get that photo posted. :D

Left my footprints up along the DMZ many years ago! At least when the ground wasn't frozen too hard to leave footprints. Watched the Winter Olympics recently and was surprised to see modern buildings and trees growing!

Thanks for being there, Soldier!

Bob, thanks for your service! My soldiering days are long past - I'm a Department of the Army civilian employee these days. I spent some time on the DMZ myself, back in the day. You absolutely would not recognize Korea today! My last tour here on active duty was 1982-83, and then I returned as a DA Civilian in 2008-2012, and returned in December, 2016. I thought the plane landed in the wrong country when I first came back! High rise buildings, freeways and cars. And I mean everybody has a car, and no place to park them! It makes things interesting, to say the least.

If I get real ambitious, I'll post some pictures here one day.
