New KGP 141

I purchased a NIB KGP141 today and found what appears to be a small
piece of copper wire in a plastic bag stapled to the Owners Manual. Any
explanation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

It's used to 'capture' the mainspring when you take the gun apart.
