I have been playing with making my own grips and this is a pair I just finished. These are made of Olive wood that came from a salvaged tree in the Holy Land. I just thought it was neat to have this wood and wanted to do something special with it.

Thanks for looking,

Not too bad for your first pass. They in fact look a lot like my first few pair, minus that gorgeous wood that is.

Dang it Caryc, I was hoping you would never see these. I am a long ways from being a grip maker buy I am trying. Yes, I stained the wood with a Walnut stain but the wood itself was a little darker than most Olive wood I have seen.

Aw c'mon, I've heard some guys say when they tried to make a set of grips, they wound up with something that looked like a beaver was chewing on it and just threw it away.

Have a little pride in your work, you earned it.
