new definition of UGLY?

Help Support Ruger Forum:

I saw one of these on GunBroker last year, for a VERY good price - thought about buying it, but I don't really like cerakote & other similar surface finishes, especially on plastic parts. Then again (I told myself ;^), the "camo" would hide the inevitable scratches/dings/divots in the coating, so maybe??? But someone else clicked "Buy Now!" before I decided:

Stumbled across one in a local pawn shop recently, and when I picked it up, the grip felt almost slick to me (due to the "camo" finish, I imagine). So, price would have to be pretty dang attractive for me to 'pull the trigger'...
:)

haven't really got around to the custom options for my daughter but I'm definitely open to pink, purple, prints, etc. that she may like

for now she's getting by with some old Belgian Brownings I bought for her ;)

It's not my thing. It also doesn't bother me. If my daughter wanted one of those & I thought it would get her interested in shooting/self defense I would get her one. But I mean the times they are a changing. Have y'all seen the Glocks with the slides that look like birthday cakes. People seem to be viewing guns as fashion accessories these days. When I think about all the nickel plated, chrome, and engraved guns I've seen maybe they always have.

Any man who'd let his daughter have a gun like that would probably not have a problem with a boyfriend with face tats and a nose ring.......

Edit: I wrote that as a joke but now that I think about it: it is probably true.....
If my daughters wanted that gun I wouldn't care. Now, a boyfriend with face tats & a nose ring would be a whole different thing.

You guys can make fun of my daughters cow print Ruger, and it may not be something you would buy, but to criticize and demean any gun owner for their choices certainly doesn't help the shooting community! I try real hard to encourage my kids โ€ฆ. I have raised 5, in the shooting and gun collecting sports!
My daughter is a smart, christian, moral, beautiful young woman that likes her cow print Rugerโ€ฆ.. she will always have my support and I will be be quick to her defense!
Oh yeahโ€ฆ.. I have to add, she was the New Mexico 4-H 2021 Archery champion (that's also against boys) lol
That is wonderful, she looks and sounds like a fine young lady. And good for her to take on and best the guys at archery. Excellent! :)

Always an unwise move to mouth about a person's child or how they were brought up, especially since you speak as well of your daughter as can be.

Sorry, I did not mean to offend anyone .... and y'all are right I guess; any gun of any look is better than no gun at all. Heck, for years I put down Glocks, still do, but I own three!
Since my favorite meat to eat is beef I guess I should like that pistol... now if they made a chicken one.... sorry there I go again......
