New American Rimfire Standard - with issues

I have used Remington 700 rifles for my center fire bolt guns. I took the spring from a valve core in a tire shop throw away and it gave me a nice trigger for hunting. I found there were two lengths of these springs in valve cores. The one that works is the shorter one. Don't do this if you do not know which trigger adjustment to work with. There are three on the 700 trigger. The information is available but you have to seek it out to find it.
I don't know if something similar would work for the American but I bet it would.
