Im' thinking about selling my ruger security 9 that I can hardly rack the slide and getting a S&W Equalizer 9 mm that is easy to rack.

Yeah $200 to have a YEET CANNON is cheap entertainment. I've done way dumber things with $200. I'm a big 357 Sig fan. Mine hurl Lehigh's at over 2k fps.

I boxed up the Hi Point 10mm and my Ruger Security 9 to go to the gun shop tomorrow (Sunday). I'll trade them for a S&W Equalizer 9 mm. If Ruger had a easy racking 9mm I'd go for it, but the only one I found was that S&W.

Took them both to the lgs and traded them for a 9mm S&W Equalizer, was a good trade even though I had to put up a few dollars with them.

Well, I'm going to sell this heavy beast and get a S&W M&P 10MM M2.0. I looked at one at my gun shop and it is a lot easier to hold up and has less recoil. If anyone is interested let me know. If no interest I'll take it to my local gun shop.
You could just use it as a small boat anchor.
M&P 10mm will be my next purchase as well, I'll just skip the HP. Buy once is a motto I try to adhere to. Not that it's an expensive pistol but certainly rungs up the quality ladder from HP. Good luck and enjoy the S&W

just saw your last post which I hadn't before. Enjoy your Equalizer
How come the switch to 9 instead of 10?

I purchased the S&W Equalizer and a S&W M&P 10mm. Took them to the range and both performed flawlessly. The 10 is hard to rack but I'm not using it for personal defense like I'll use the 9 for. I just ordered a Gersan 14T which is a 380 with tip up barrel. No need to rack the slide on that one. I'll have it in a few days and take it to the range for testing.

Got the Gersan and took it to range with the S&W Equalizer and they were a blast to shoot. I was MUCH more accurate that any of my other guns. Love that Gersan's tip up barrel. It allows me to reload and shoot quickly too. It's a real keeper.

Yeah my .45 1911 is a RIA and I like it a lot.
Yep- they're putting out some quality 1911s now. I picked up a tan Cerakote model last year at a good price. I did a little (very) light polishing on the action and it's every bit as reliable and accurate as my Colt, and much more reliable than my old Canadian Para.
