Hey all, I'd like to sell this and I was hoping I could get some insight on pricing this. It's a Ruger Mark IV Lite, custom color with laser engraving, all the Tandemkross parts and 8 Tandemkross magazines. It's styled to look like something out of the video game Halo. What should I ask for it?

I looked it up on Gunbroker and this is the only one i found that has sold

all the ones priced higher closed without any bids , so maybe some one can run a better search or use different terms/words and come up with more inf for you

best of luck

Welcome to the Forum!
Often,, when someone customizes a firearm,, it'll only appeal to a small number of people. And for selling it,, due to not being "as shipped" will often detract from value if it can't be returned to as shipped condition.
To top that off,,, the parts to build it won't bring what a person spent either.

I agree,, go to Buds,, get an appraisal and add about 25%.

The aftermarket parts add next to nothing in real world value unless you find the one person that wants what you have with exactly all the same mods.

It's worth $250 to me because I have a MKIII I customized for myself and yours is not done the way I like 'em. No offense, just an example. You should keep it unless you are desperate for cash.

I think some of the answers are accurate but sound a little harsh. Truth is Mark whatever pistols and 10-22 rifles seldom reclaim the money spent modifying them.
With the seven mags and bag plus the hot rod parts I would not be shy to ask $500 for the package and I believe it would sell pretty quick.
A lot depends on how quick you want to sell it but someone could save a lot of time if they were planning to build a similar gun

Nice, thanks guys, I appreciate the responses. I'll head over to buds and get it appraised. I may just keep it if the price is too low. I'll add a suppressor and a red dot and call it a day.

About to go to Buds, wish me luck. Once I get a price from buds, where/what sites should I advertise it?

Back from Buds, you were right on the money...offered me $400 for everything. I think there's over $500 of Tandemkross parts on the thing. I'll post it on armslist and tngunowners for $800 and see if I get any bites.

^^^ I agree. My 22/45 series 3 doesn't have anywhere near that much 'customizing' but it's a bragging rights pistol all day long. In fact, I've had guys offer 2x what it cost after shooting it a few times.
When you 'ring the 100 yard gong' a few times and then hand the pistol to someone and HE does it too, sometimes it's hard to get the gun back.

Yeah, 400 is low but before you get pie in the sky price ideas from interweb sales just do some homework on sellers fees, buyers fees, shipping fees and FFL fees.
All the above can really eat into any extra money you make. Then factor in the possible stress of a long-distance sale. Protentional whining or even worse fraud of some flavor.
If time is not of the essence maybe just take your time with some local, face to face ads or do a gunshow walk-about. Or maybe show up at some shooting events where they would shoot a gun set up that way.

I was interested in what Buds would think of the addons, & apparently, not too much. But the way they price a used gun to buy or take in trade indicates they were offering you a little extra for the pieces parts.

Throwing a slew of options at a gun, motorcycle, etc. is usually(nearly always) a loosing option come sale time. One item(s) I see that could be separated & sold individually are some of the mags. This could allow you to put a more attractive price on the gun but get some back by selling mags. Other easily remove parts might sell better by themselves to help recoup some of your investment.

Good luck & welcome to the forum.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I went ahead and listed it on Armslist, but maybe I could sell some of the mags separately, I don't think I need 8 of them. I'm leaning towards keeping it now and putting even MORE money into with with a suppressor and a green dot. At least the ammo is cheap!
