I'm ordering a Wolff spring kit (265760) for my P95 and P345. Have any of you guys switched to a lighter hammer spring in these models? If so, what spring strength did you end up with on your pistols? Any downside to lightening up on the hammer springs?

Also, I would like to buff my P345 sear and hammer using my Dremel. Could you recommed a good buffing compound that would not remove much metal, but still give me a smooth finish? I have one little gritty spot at the start of the single action trigger pull that I'm having trouble eliminating.

Thanks for the replies.

Gander ... The only down side that I'm aware of in going with the lighter hammer spring on the P series pistols is the potential for light primer hits. With the stock spring being 23 lbs., I decided to go with a 21 lb in both my P95 and P345. While the difference was most noticable in DA, it did make the SA pull a bit nicer as well (a friend of mine tried the 19 lb spring and did end up having an issue with some light primer hits). Good luck with the modification!

Wolff sells a kit with 19,20 & 21 pound springs included. I had the 19 in my P-944 for a couple of years. I changed it back because I decided I didn't like how it felt anymore. It is still nice now-I think after a couple thousand rounds fired & a bunch of dry fires the parts smoothed themselves out resulting in a smoother pull.
