Blackhawk
Well, the three revolvers I purchased from a gentleman in Michigan arrived at my FFL yesterday. I can honestly say that I am well pleased.
Here are a number of pictures I took last night. This guns all look to have been well maintained and shot little.
First, the OM .357 Magnum Flat-top with 6 ½" barrel:
Decent enough stocks.
Decent on both sides.
Just the right number of screws.
Not much wear-n-tear.
The back-strap is clean too.
Looks to have been manufactured in 1962…last year for flat-tops?
Pretty clean screw-heads.
Here's the next one…an OM .41 Magnum Blackhawk with 6 ½" barrel:
This one looks to be the cleanest of the three.
Perhaps a first-year production gun?
Not too many scrapes or scratches.
The stocks are pretty nice as well.
I doubt this one will be shot…at least for now. I do not have another Blackhawk in .41 Magnum, but this one is a bit clean to become a range gun.
The other side.
A bit dusty!
Here's the last of the three. A decent OM Single-Six. The flat-gate was sure a nice bonus! My only flat-gate.
It's got the look of a gun wanting to go to the range with me! A bit of wear on the ejector housing.
This is my first OM Single-Six.
It's sure nice not having the instruction manual rolled into the barrel!
The gate is cool. Looks like someone messed with the screws a bit…ugh!
This gun looks to be a C&R. In fact, it may be a couple years older than I am!
I like the black stocks.
Here are the three together. It was fun opening up this package.
'nuther.
Here's the whole OM clan.
The OM flat-tops.
'nuther.
'nuther.
Lastly, the OM and NM flat-tops with the OM Single-Six.
A bit closer.
