Ken, that's tough my friend. It's good that "the girls" were able to be close to their Dad, and that they could see others around them accept things with an appreciation for the love of the girls.
From this hillbilly,, I'll offer up my prayers for ALL of the family. Obviously it was too soon for a young man like that to leave behind those who loved him.

So sorry to hear what happened, prayers for the girls and your whole family. The girls have a special Grandpa and I think they know it. They say time heals all wounds but losing a father is probably the toughest. I know you'll watch over them even, if from afar, and the girls will alwayts know they have someone to turn to when they need the help.

Very sad. A loving, hard working dad gone far too young---I feel bad for the girls. Stay strong and remember the good times---your family needs you now... RIP Alan.
