so after my 10 day wait period. I finally got my old vaquero sheriff bisley.

when I bought it they said no box. which I was OK with.

but when I picked it up, they had the box. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that the original owner had kept all the original parts in the box. grips, frame, triger, and hammer. so they gave me all the parts. the shop owner said the bisley conversion was done by a good smith.

I shot it tonight and the trigger has no creep, and its an awesome shooter. it slips right into my trouser pockets with just the grip poking out.

so its a KBNV-453-SI

I have almost the exact rig. Mine has oversized Hogue wood grips that really control stout loads. I use 300 gr @ about 1000-1100 fps and carry it in bear country.

Did you need to modify the Bisley grip any to fit?
What does a Bisley grip sell for?
Looks like I may have a project this spring.
