I am not an expert by any means. But I have been shooting my P95 for 2 years. I went to the range with a friend who shoots a Glosk 26 which is also a 9MM. Shooting the same ammo, I shot a tighter group at 10 yards with his glock than I ever have with my P95.

My other problem, which I don't know if I can say it's a problem, but after 250-300rounds, I began to have Fail to Feeds and a Fail to Fire. Is this a familiar problem? I was shooting a mix of WWB and reloads.

Honestly, how accurate have you been at 10 yards?

rmanse2 ... In answer to your questions, please note the following (BTW, I do not own a Glock but have shot them extensivly on many occasions):

1. While the P95 & G26 are not target pistols (by any stretch of the imagination), In my experience both are capable of consistantly shooting sub 2" groups at 10 yards (a typical 15 round target at 25' with my P95)

2. The trigger on the P95 is significantly different then the Glock and takes some getting used to due to the amount "creep" in it. While I wouldn't trade my P95 for any Glock, IMHO it's easier to pull the P95 slightly off target because of the difference in the triggers.

3. Your problem with FTFs after 250+ rounds could be any number of issues including: reloads, excessive fouling at the round count, etc. While I personally haven't had a failure of any kind in my P95 in over 6,500 rounds (shooting a wide variety of factory ammo and reloads), I've never taken it to 250+ rounds between cleanings (I always clean it after every range session ... generally 150 rounds or less). Maybe others have some better thoughts on this one.

Good luck ... hope it helped.

I've had several autos and always cleaned them after each session as well.
I would say that 250 rounds is probably the most I've shot from one gun at one session. For me, it was probably more like 150-200. My guess is that a good cleaning would help.

BTW; I agree with Buck.

I always clean it after any trip to the range. I thought that it might just be dirty so I field stripped it at the range wiped down the rails and everything went back to normal. I was just curious if anyone else has had that experience.
As far as the difference in triggers, this was only my third time to shoot a Glock and I was suprised at how tight a group it made, although a little high and to the left.
I may end with a G26 as a backup.

I have that experience once with mine. Actually I believe my lube dried up and at around 250 rounds it just failed to work.

That amount of rounds warms a gun up a bit.

I figured that's all it was, because I have had that problem before but didn't have the time to wipe it down.
