Like I said before, in the "new guy" section, I have two Ruger firearms. One I posted a pic of in the "rifle" section, so I figured I would post one up of my other Ruger rifle...this one a rimfire.

It is a standard 10/22, with a Bushnell TRS 25mm red dot, that is zeroed at 50 yards. I bought the BX-15 magazines for it, instead of the 25 rounders...I kinda prefer not to have so much magazines hanging down there. I also have a number of the famous and fabulous 10 round rotary types as well, two of them are about 12 years old, and still run strong. ;)

Nice 10/22. I have the TRS-25 on my 10/22 takedown. I have had them on 45/70 rifles and 12 gauge slug guns and they hold up to the recoil.

I have sold all but 1 or 2 of my 25 rounders, and pretty much use only the 10 round mags for the flush fit.

Thanks for the compliment on the rifle! Nothing special to it, but I tend to keep firearms that I intend to use on a regular basis. I would love to do a 10/22 build, been getting the "itch" since I got out of the AR/AK scene, and sometime in the near future, I intend to build that 10/22 to be pretty and kind of a safe queen...have never owned any of those types of guns, but would like to at least once in my life.

That set up looks like a plinker and small game machine. I like the TRS 25,I have three of them and they all function well. One is on my 22/45 back yard "varmint" gun for skunks, armadillos and raccoons. WW Sub sonic HP's will solve the problem quickly if they are properly applied.

Welcome, from a fellow Hoosier! I have the TRS-25 on my 10/22 as well. I bought it to use on my AR, but didn't like the looks of it on there. It is an excellent little sight though.
