Just picked up my .45 Colt today :D
Also came with a 45 ACP cylinder.
It is in very nice condition, previous owner only fired Cast through it.
Gave it a good cleaning, it had some very bad lead build up at the forcing cone and some down the grooves.
I had to use Kroil and the Lewis lead remover to get it clean, but it is now clean
.45 ACP cylinder has less than .0015 of B/C gap a bit to tight.
.45 Colt cylinder has .006 B/C gap
Both cylinders have zero end shake that I can measure.
Bore is .451 and Chambers are .4515
I ran a very tight patch through the bore and felt No restriction at the barrel frame junction.

Thinking I want to trade the grips for something else.
One side is a 45/70 case and the other a 30-30 case

Interesting grip medallions.
I have a few of the 45 Blackhawks, & enjoy them all. If the previous owner only shot cast,,, you may find a good cast bullet that doesn't lead up as bad & continue using it. I'd look at opening up the throats to the .4525 & see what happens. Shoot it first,,, then see if the throats need opening.
