If you've been on here long you will have seen my search for a Outdoor Sports KMK512P. My WTB add has been running since 9/1/14. It is the last distributor model I need to have all the distributor target models. This one was on GB. Has 214 prefix as it is supposed to but rest of serial number is out of sequence per Chads book. I called Ruger per customer service it shipped to Outdoor Sports in 1988. Correct year per Chads book. Looks to be correct period Walnut Grips. KMK512P was just a SS 5.5" BB with Walnut grips. When it gets here I will get a Ruger letter. What do you guys think? If not correct I guess I'll just have another good shooter.

Chad's book is only as good as the data reported to him. It's not unusual to find something not in the book yet. When you get the letter your gun gets to be in there which is pretty cool
