Although I've had 3 different Model 77RSI's in .250 Savage (I sold them due to the fantastic profit I made on them), the last few years I've been jones'n for a .250 for deer hunting.

A few weeks ago, I won this 1975 tang-safety M77R .250 Savage red pad at a very decent price (for today).

It had an inexpensive 3x9x32 scope mounted on it, which I promptly sold off and mounted my Trijicon Accupoint Safari 1.75-4x32 IR (no battery) scope in it's place.

Good for you Pete!! :) Sweet caliber and a nice rifle.

Great Whitetail cartridge...I shot four Deer back in the early 70's in Pa. with a .250/3000 Savage 99 and none of them took more than a couple of steps.
Enjoy
Terry
