My first revolver!

took home my first revolver, the Ruger CP100, 4" this past weekend. Put about 150 rounds through it & was extremely pleased. Well balanced, accurate right out of the box, easy to handle and had good shooting results. Not sure why I waited so long to get one. :lol:

I assume you meant GP100... Yes, they are great revolvers. Mine is extremely accurate and just as smooth as glass,like you say,"right out of the box" . Enjoy!!

Next, for really fun shooting, you need to get an old model single action Blackhawk.

Yes, I did mean the GP100....typing skills need improvement. lol. And, would like to check out the SA Blackhawk, if I can find one to test out.

I'm sure the fun factor with that GP100 will be good for a long time. I have one permanently parked in my range bag. Other guns come and go, but that one stays.

The 4" GP100 was my first revolver as well. They are a little heavy, but great guns. I've since gotten more interested in Blackhawks, but I don't think I'll ever part with my GP.
