Remington 722 in .222.
Least favorite is the 783 in 22-250. Had it out to the range yesterday and could not hit paper at 100 yards. I know I'm not the best shot in the world but I was consistently in the ten ring at 200 yards with my Ruger M77 Mark II with same ammo. Looks like I have to bore sight it before I take it back to the range.

Rimfire: 581 in .22LR set up for peep sights.

Centerfire: My ONLY commercial centerfire rifle, a 1969 Remington 700BDLV in .243. Bought it with the intent to turn it into a USMC M40 clone, but so far, it's still stock. And it's spectacular! ;)

Will post pics if I can find them.

For me it’s the 341 Sportsmaster.

I do have a Nylon 66 story. There was a time in my 20’s I’d get an annual “burn some ammo” itch. I’d pick up a Nylon 66 for $100 go out and burn through 2 or 3 bricks in an afternoon. Then I’d sell the Nylon for a slight profit. I did that 3 or 4 years in a row.

600 in 243W and a 788 in 22-250. Bofovem have done their duties admirably. Much more reliable than any Chevy I ever had...

I bought one in 1964. Picked beans, strawberries and slung hay all summer on farms
all over the county to get the money for it. I was 15 and I'm 74 now and still have it.
One of the best .22 semi-auto's I've ever owned. Head shots on squirrel, rabbit and even
doves are the rule rather than the exception. Lost it in the river once running from the
Game Warden. He seemed to think I was on the wrong side of the river. Went back
several times swimming before I found it. Shook the water out of it, put fresh ammo in
and it shot all 14 rounds. Took it home, poured 3 in 1 oil in it, let it drain and it's
still shoots every time still today. Never has been taken apart to clean and it's had
thousands upon thousands of rounds thru it.
Never owned another .22 until the mid 90's other than Granddad's old Stevens
falling block .22. That was given to me when I was 12.

Have only fired one Remmie and my son made me buy it after my wife passed away to cheer me up. It is a Model 597M. I had a lot of problems with this .22 Mag rifle, but I finally got 'em all fixed up. So now mine is a great little rifle.

My favorite Remington rifle was a 350 Mag carbine with vent rib (Model 600), although my wife's 7x57 Mountain Rifle is nice. I also had a Fieldmaster BDL 22 slide action that was real nice but my 10-22s were always chosen.

Really, if things go to h e double tooth picks, 30.06 is the most sensible caliber. Not only will it be enough rifle for the entire Northern Continent, it is the most likely caliber you will find anywhere in the northern hemisphere you find rifle ammunition.
