Well because it’s the Memorial Day holiday, I thought I’d share this with the Forum. When I finally decided to “pop smoke” from the military, the boys on my Special Forces ODA (Operational Detachment-Alpha…or simply A-Team) pitched in and presented me with a nice going away (or glad you’re leaving…get the “F” outta here!) gift. The pics aren’t the best quality, but most of the detail is visible: De Oppresso Liber! 👍🇺🇸

Thank you TS. Yeah the boys knew that I was big into Ruger stuff, so that was cool. It’s the only Old Army…(now that model name is REALLY appropriate!). LMAO!…that I own. The engraving is nice despite it not being done by some universally known engraver.

You’re welcome…Yeah I know Vermont’s motto…I’m glad the guys used “Live Free or Die”…it’s more to the point and leaves no room for questioning exactly what that means!
