Ok, how about a 590 with a double stack detachable 20 round mag? :D

Love it, but one question. Reliability? Are any reports out yet or is this too new?

Nothing yet. Probably be a month or so before anything. Mossbergs are generally pretty reliable tho. Weight is almost 8lbs empty. Suggested MSRP is $721. Did find a video (10min):

That's a long way from my beretta silverhawk. i grew up thinking shotguns were for bird hunting. I guess i'm Old fashioned. Looks like a lot of firepower in a relatively small package.

Might be ok for home defense.........but I would not wanna lug it around.

Looks like a cancerous growth. If you're up against multiple bad guys, a Ruger PC carbine would be a lot easier to use effectively.

Good spread is more important.  :

If I were a valley girl (which I'm not!), I would say that shotgun is totally NOT tubular (as in the magazine).

I have a couple of old-school "totally tubular" 500/590 series shotguns, and I like them just fine.

:)
