More .44 Jeeps?

I would love a 44 Spl. GP100 (Jason are you listening?) just to have a larger bore GP.

I also have a S&W 624 in 44 Spl. so I already shoot that round. If I want to rattle my teeth I have a Redhawk and a Super Blackhawk in 44 Mag.

I generally down load the Magnum for more pleasant shooting when I go to the range. Remington used to load a 'mid range' load with a lead bullet for the 44 Mag and I have a few boxes of it, but I remember it still being a little 'snappy' even at a lower velocity.

If you want a Magnum get a Magnum.

Something along the lines of the S&W 69 would be nice but it is not what I am after. I would like a GP that would take hot .44 Sp loads like the Buffalo Bore 255 gr without cracking a forcing cone as has plagued the S&W 696 using hot loads occasionally.
