Model 54 Winchester

I just acquired this rifle, I'm a Pre 64 fan but always wanted a Pre-pre-64! Well mine is a 1926 example chambered in 30-06 and is beautiful. I'm not a 30-06 fan boy by any means but I am a lover of classic arms and this one fits the bill. Might just kill an elk with it this upcoming season. Four digit serial number that appears in molested. Hope some of you guys appreciate my new baby!

I had a lot of different rifle calibers but whenever I got a chance to go hunting, my 30-06 (03-A3) was always the one!!!
It's now with a cousin with four kids down in Ga.
Hopefully it's hunting days are just beginning.

Something just feels right about old steel and walnut! One of the things that I really love about my RSM's and Ruger Express rifles, they feel right in the hand and on the shoulder.
