OK Ruger has come out with a 22/45 with replaceable grips which is not available in CA. I have a MKIII target can the barrel from the target fit on the 22/45 frame? The frames are not stamped so I can order one I just don,t know if I can put the MKIII barrel on the 22/45 frame. Dusterman

Generally speaking,, yes,, you can swap around the top ends & grip frames to "Frankenruger" a gun. However,, buying just a gripframe will not be an easy option as I doubt Ruger will sell just that part,, and they are too new to be found easily.

Is the 22/45 with the non changeable grips available in CA??
If so buy one of them & put grips on it yourself..
Hope to visit CA one day but could never live there..

Nothing like the smell of gunpowder & the sound of the mini-gun zipping threw a couple thousand rounds.

Cannot be sold here yet not on DOJ approved list yet. Found out this morning Ruger does have them here being tested for approval. Dusterman
