How often does the Recoil Spring Assembly need to be replaced on the MKIII?

There's no exact number of rounds but in general after how many thousand rounds fired would you need to replace that part?

I don't know myself,, as I've never HAD to replace one due to excessive shooting. And I have a few with several thousands of rounds through them.

I agree, in all these years we have NEVER "changed" a recoil spring guide, UNLESS it was "broken" (defective meaning deformed) or "missing" from a "basket case" rebuild.......(all the parts in a basket or bag, except that one)

I have a MKII with somwhere around 100k rounds through it. Still has the original recoil spring, although a few other parts have had to be replaced.
