Saw one in a .22-250. Anybody know much about them? Never seen them listed on Ruger's website or catalogs.

There was an offering, may still be offered??, for LE, but those were generally in 223 and 308 calibers and not normally available to the civilian market. Just a thought, but perhaps they did offer in 22-250 or the stock came from one of the LE rifles?? Sure others could shed some light on it for you.

That was my first thought also was that it was a LE in either a .223 or .308. The guy claims it's all original (NIB) so it just made me curious about when Ruger offered them like this.

For awhile cabelas was selling this version. If I recall correctly it had a sporter style stock not the wide forearm of the regulaer varmint but I could be wrong. But I am positive cabelas offered a gray laminate stock varmint in about the last two or three years.
