Just picked up a used MkII for $200. 4" blued Std model "18" prefix--no box or manual.

Serial # indicates first year MkII production of 1982.

I honestly don't think its ever been shot or taken apart--all the blueing is still on the bolt and the finish is pristine. All the finish is still on the magazine--old style small button magazine--silver eagle on the mag and grips.

I had to rubber mallet it apart--cleaned the bore and Break Free'd everything as all the parts were dry. There was still oil under the grip panels.

I think somebody bought it in the 80's---put it away---and just got rid of it recently.

I fully intend to give it proper usage.

Pics when I get the camera out of the car.

Sorry--just had to brag a bit.

She's absolutely beautiful now that I gave her some TLC.
Hand cycles perfectly.

Nice find! With the prices for MKII's climbing it sure makes me feel good that I have a MKII Government Target Model.

I wouldn't want to try and buy one today.

Here she is---changed out the plastic for some target grips---might buy a left handed set and just use the flat checkered panels from each set.

Yes---that's a piece of duct tape on the SN---I left the prefix exposed.
