Tried to search the archives on this one but no luck.
I picked up another MKII today with 4 magazines. Out of my current stash of nine mags now, 3 have a red logo w/silver eagle, 3 have black with silver eagle, and the other 3 are all black. The 3 red backgrounds versions also have a large flat "bullseye" depression button on the follower, different than the others.
My question is are these differences based on anything of note, or just because of whim.

The red logo magazines were put with the 50th Anniversary model MK4-50 in 1999 and have been that way on all of Ruger's auto models since that time.
If you have a magazine for the Mark II or Mark III that is without the eagle logo, then it is an aftermarket magazine.
All of Ruger's magazines pre Mark II had a chrome plated bottom without Ruger medallion.
