Is it OK to dry fire my MK III? The book is silent on this point, but tells me to 'uncock' it, (dropping the firing pin on an empty chamber), during several operations it explains.

I read, and REread that WHOLE manual three times..... Just so I wouldn't get embarassed. Oh well.

No problem with dry firing the Mark III. Good thing because rimfire snap caps are not very practical.
