Need some additional information on the KMK678G: RENE says several thousand of these were made. The questions I have are 1) Are these easy to find NIB? 2)What kind of price would one expect to pay for one NIB? 3)How collectible are these?

The reason I am asking is a good friend of mine who is an avid Ruger fanatic has one NIB he is thinking about selling. He was also wanting to know what to ask for it if he sells it or what the ave going price is currently. Couldn't find this model in the Blue Book at all. Actually this one is his "backup" to the first one he bought.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Not too easy to find as a lot of folks keep the ones they have. Not as much a collectable as they are a great shooter.
Price? Not sure but $450 wouldn't be out of line for a NIB example.

I saw one at a show recently,, and only looked because it was a model I already own. It was priced at $450.
