Did Ruger make a mark 2 gov with a 5.5 inch stainless bull barrel that was in a plain variety. If so is 375 a decent price for one in good shape.

Seems a little high to me ... I would think more like $275-300. Buds has had brand new MKIII's for about $325 or so.

I didnt see a mark 3 government on buds

Isn't the government just a 6 7/8 inch bull barrrel ? It may not have been listed, but it's right around that price.

He said it was a heavy barrel 5.5 mark 2 stainless with gov.target model on the side of the barrel. With a stainless bolt, black trigger and black grips.

You were right revhigh I called Ruger today and they kind of said he needs to learn how to read a ruler. They were all 6.875 in that serial number range
