Well, you have an anomaly.:)

We look forward to mismarked revolvers for our collections and displays, but on a Mini 14, it's the first such mismarking I've heard of. Your Mini could be a whole display of only one gun. . And that also could garner the most scarce Ruger of the show.
I'm not a collector but seems someone found a nugget.
i have no clue, but it should be with something

they shipped it in wrong box, or the store put wrong rifle in it, what did you pay for? I say they gave you wrong box, because the rifle does not appear to be in stainless steel.

yessir I agree with peyton, may just be a "clerical error" so aside from all the markings exactly what caliber is it???? the Mini 14 magazines were rectangular, and the Mini 30 mags were tapered, narrow at the front.....did you black out the numbers?? box label does NOT match the receiver stamping, again what ammo "fits it"?????;)

The s/n on the gun ( which is clearly marked Mini 30 and 762x39 ) matches the s/n on that box end label. Ya think Ruger sent out a Mini 14 with same s/n in a Mini 30 box To someone else?

I use to be an 07 and currently licensed dealer. Go gauges say it is indeed a 556

yessir , step above ( below?) a clerical "error" , wonder what the person at the testing range figured, cause he certainly didn't LOOK!! gee I winder what the boss is going to say or tell you, boo boo or not, for safety reasons down the road I would want it made right.......FUBAR.......:cautious:(n)
