maybe my first #3

Just happened to find a #3 listed on my usual shop's site today while on lunch. Called and it's held for me until I can get there to look it over. It's a .45-70 chambering in supposedly 95%. I think it's a good price too but never pay attention to these. Just figured it might be a good time to bring a #3 home finally.

Get yourself one of the PAST recoil shields for your shoulder and then go to a local sports shop and pickup a mouth guard (the one for football players) - you are going to need both when you touch off any decently powerful load in that little beast.

I'm thinking this won't see any heavy loads, have a #1 in .45-70 for that. More or less getting this because I don't have a #3 and it's a good price. Might try it, might just wait and see if turns into something else on a trade/sale. Gotta think ahead sometimes.
