I purchased a P95 3 days ago and thanks to California law, i am currently waiting until Feb 3rd.....very patiently, to pick it up. This is my first gun. My question is, showing how new i am, i noticed the P95 comes in a Decocking model, the one i bought isn't a decocking model. I'm sure i'm going to get some flack for it but how would i decock my P95 if for some reason i have it cocked but not being in a place to fire it? I watched a couple vids on youtube of the P95dc model and it looks just like the one i bought, with the same Decock lever too. Thing is, mine does not say DC on it. Do they all have Decocking levers on them now but just not putting DC on the side? Thanks in advanced!

When you put the safety lever on your gun, it will automatically decock. The difference between the models is that your lever will stay in the "safe" position, while a "decock only" model has a spring which returns it to the "fire" position.
