This is FYI. Today I was at one of the shops I frequent from time to time. They had a couple of interesting guns under the glass counter.

One was a 5 digit 6 1/2" 357 Flattop that had the conversion done on it. It had ill fitting Pachmyar grips installed. Other than the grips, it was about a 95% gun. I THINK the SN started 22xxx. No box. $599

The second is a 357 Maximum in near new condition. 7 1/2" barrel with only a slight turn ring. Included original box and paperwork. Interesting SN was 600-08080. $650

I talked to the owner and he says the shipping/transfer charge is $70. More if you come from a state that charges sales tax.

I am not a dog in this fight, but if anyone wants additional info about them, I will be happy to get that to you via PM.

guns sound alright, but $70 to ship a gun that he has in his shop? seems pretty steep-priority mail flatrate box is what-12-14?
