MarkI or a standard?

Greetings, I have one of these puppies, Serial number is 16-9254X. From Ruger Website shows a date of 1981, which is not that old. Want to know if it is a Standard or a Mark I. Has a A100 grip frame, holds 9 rounds. Does not lock back after the last round. Fixed sites.
I think Mark I, only because it is not that old.

Does your pistol have adjustable sights or fixed? Adjustable is the Mark I Target Model and fixed is the Standard model. Usually the Mark I's have the "Mark I" model designation stamped on the receiver.

The "Mark I" was the target version of the first generation of Ruger .22 autoloaders. It will have either a bull barrel or a heavy tapered target barrel, a micro-adjustable rear sight (both windage and elevation), and it will have "MARK I" clearly stamped on the left side of the receiver.

If the rear sight is adjustable for windage only (by drifting in a dovetail), and it doesn't say "MARK I" on the receiver, then you have a "Standard Automatic Pistol".

1 local gun shop has one w/compensator and original box for $650.

Another local gun shop has one w/o compensator, condition 80% for $279.
