I have a Mark II recently purchased used. It's a Mark II 22/45 Target Pistol. It has a Black barrel and is married to a stainless receiver. And has the polymer grip/trigger housing.

Is this a factory original or do you think the previous owner modified the pistol? From the serial number it looks to have been manufactured in 2005.

Thanks for the response.

Well,,,, it's more likely that someone has put one together & it's not factory. HOWEVER,,,, Ruger did produce some guns like that. Not many ,,, but they were built if my faded memory is correct.
Due to the many aftermarket gun builds with a different "upper receiver," many guns are later rebuilt by whatever parts that can be had.

Those were a Davidsons exclusive, or parts clan up guns sold through them. I was a dealer for them when they were offered.
