at the range sunday, I was shooting my SR9 and had run about 30 rounds thru it when all of a sudden, it quit firing. The trigger would not budge and it felt mushy-like it was trying to move a little but was blocked.

any ideas what is wrong?

Have you taken it apart yet?

There could just be something in the way of the action in the back of the trigger housing, but maybe not. With the info. you've given, I don't know.

Don't mean to sound like a butt, but was the safety on? May have accidentally nudged it with your thumb or something.

Josh, no the safety wasn't on. it takes an act of congress to push it on. I haven't had time to strip it down but I did remove the slide and barrel and could not see anything amiss. but the trigger has been getting heavier and heavier with every trip to the range. I will try to get it stripped down this week.
