Magnaport SR9?

All,

Just was curious on some input on possibly magnaporting the sr9? I have read that it may not be needed for the 9mm and ive shot 38spl's with the magnaport and it makes quite a bit of difference.

No reason to magnaport the 9MM ... it's a wussy caliber anyway. :D

Nines may be wussy in-terms of bullet diameter, but they run at relatively high pressure. If a 45 ran at that pressure...they'd probably call it a 454.

It all depends on what you're trying to do. If you want to keep the muzzle down to improve double tap speed then porting would help. But your eardrums may be less happy.

If you're trying to make recoil lighter while knocking over cans, get a 22.
