Does anyone have any collector's info on a limited run of Ruger Blackhawk .357 Mag with gold scroll work. The one I saw had "1 of 500" on the bottom of the grip frame. Is it worth the investmtent of $725. Any info would help.

Don't know about collector info ... can't help you there....

And I don't know about it being tacky... However, the gold trim would probably rub off after a bit of holster wear and cleaning. I'd stick with the .50th Anniversary version of the .357 as it is the same gun, quite a bit cheaper, and would shoot just as well ;) .

Gold on guns doesn't work for me either. Even the very small amount on my regular 50th anniversary model is "going away".

If that thing was a car, it'd have spinners, dingo balls on the ceiling and a chrome chain steering wheel. Just saying....
