Know whatcha mean. I built my rifle while hanging around the "Rimfire Central" forum and there are some serious shooters there! As accurate as I think my rifle is, it's only mediocre at rimfire benchrest. That requires almost "same hole" groups! But as a sporter rifle I like my results with the GM barrel. If I was $eriou$ about rimfire BR, I'd probably start with bolt rifle like a M-52 Winnie....FWIW, Dennis (Who is a Ruger AND old Winchester fan! :wink: )

Wow, I got a lot of information from these threads. I didn't even have to chime in. :wink: Thanks guys, y'all really know your stuff. I'm looking at building an AR15 style 10/22 but the barrel specs are what i was worried about. Thanks a mundo!
