Send lawyers, guns and money.
(Anoher Warren Zevon)
Damn! [Smacks forehead] Another how-did-I-forget-that-one? And I've actually seen that one used in ordinary "mainstream" media, too (often some sort of article knocking the NRA).

Good catch, old friend. ;)(y)

Only thing coming to mind right now for me is how everything "triggers" the woke set. Which is pretty funny for a bunch of humorless antigun scolds, but that's Karens for you. *shrug*

As far as music goes, well, there's always the song quote I borrowed for one of my sig lines: "Where am I to go now that I've gone too far?"

The answer, of course, was "You'll come to know, when the bullet hits the bone."

Golden Earring for the win.

I always liked "Lunatic Fringe" even more. ;)

Hey, if we're doing songs, how about "We got a kinder, gentler machine gun hand" (Neil Young, *Rockin' in the Free World")?

tack driver. don't really know what that means, I have always used a hammer to drive tacks.
It means the sayer-of-tack-driver can actually hit what he's shooting at with it, even if that's the front half of a moose. I've seen the term used to describe guns that can't stay on a beer can at 100 yards, much less hit any part of a "tack," even a big-headed thumbtack.
