tack driver. don't really know what that means, I have always used a hammer to drive tacks.
It means the sayer-of-tack-driver can actually hit what he's shooting at with it, even if that's the front half of a moose. I've seen the term used to describe guns that can't stay on a beer can at 100 yards, much less hit any part of a "tack," even a big-headed thumbtack.
