The so-called man bun always reminds me of what the top of a garbage bag looks like after a twist tie is used to close the top.

We had a new guy come to work with a man bun a few weeks back in the mine I work at and I asked him if it was a saddle horn for his boyfriend. Lol
I work as an underground miner here in Nevada and insults like that are acceptable in my line of work.
The guy is still with us and a pretty good hand but believe me he didn't waste any time cutting his hair after I made that remark.
