Well, with all of his shoot-em-up flicks Steven Seagal certainly is a "gun-related joke." And where did he get the inspiration for that hairstyle and outfit? Oh, wait:

Rediscovered some hilarious - in an "Ohmigod!" sense - articles about applied chemistry tonight:
About the joys of working with chlorine triflouride, which ignites pretty much anything including brick, sand, most metals and unwary chemists. Nazi scientists supposedly explored using ClFl3 during WWII as an incendiary, but it apparently frightened them too much.
There's also supposed to be a chlorine pentaflouride compound out there, because three flourines on one chlorine molecule weren't apparently enough for some maniac.
Which is even worse than chlorine triflouride. It's chemical formula is FOOF, which tells you all you need to know about it even if you don't know a lick of chemistry.
Something else that tends to make lots of things go "foof!" including a lot of things you'd rather not foof. The Nazis also experimented with peroxide concentrates as rocket and jet fuel, including as fuel for the Me-163 Komet fighter, for which purpose they found it occasionally melted test pilots in their own cockpits.

That clip was great. You know, I would also love to have some knowledgeable common sense gun/medical/industrial/you name it, everyday people be allowed to question the directors of these different agencies and just tear these idiots answers apart and throw them back into their faces.
