I see many have POI issues with the LCP Max shooting low, very low.
My son has one that shoots very low for him, about 15" low at 10 yds. When I shoot it it is only about 1 1/2" - 2" low at the same distance. It also shoots left for him, but not me, but that was resolved with rear sight drift. He normally shoots left with all his handguns compared to me, due to hand size and grip to trigger distance. His hands are considerably smaller than mine and that makes most of the difference in our impacts. I'm aware that most of this issue is due to how it is held and trigger finger placement/pressure, but I need to get this issue resolved for him.
Please don't suggest shooting closer, or shooting off a rest as those suggestions will only either have it shoot less low due to distance or induce other factors that a rest entails, not how the gun is shot in normal use.
With that said, have any found a higher rear sight to replace the original, and if so what height rear sight and from where. Would prefer a solid steel sight same as original only higher.
Thanks for your input.
