Has anyone here ever had issues using LCP II magazines in an original LCP?
I picked up a couple LCP II mags to use as spares and I believe they are causing malfunctions. My first couple range trips the LCP ran great, not one issue. My first range trip with the LCP II mags I had a random stovepipe. Didn't think too much of it and chalked it up to weaker range ammo. Went to the range last week and decided to blow off my carry ammo. Ended up having a double feed at the end of my last mag and sure enough it was one of the LCP II mags. I'm not sure which mag I was using on the first malfunction but this most recent one was definitely with an LCP II mag.
Seeing as how I had no issues until I started using the LCP II mags I have to believe they are the cause of these malfunctions. Another thing I noticed is the follower on the LCP II mags kind of nose dives when you load them or press down on the follower. My original factory mag doesn't do that.
