LCP Cleaning Question

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum.

I recently purchased my first semi auto and first Ruger, the LCP.

I just realized that I forgot to retract the slide before I removed the takedown pin for cleaning. I can't see any visible damage... Does anyone know if there's anything I should look for as a result of doing this?

I've done this with no damage that I can detect. A non-issue.
With the earlier KelTec .32s, good advice was to lock the slide to the rear with the slide stop before prying out the slide stop. I'd guess the same should work on the LCP.
