Sweet, when they add 9mm all the beaches will be happy.
I wonder how much the bolt weighs on this bugger! The 45 is heavy enough.
Really, it should give the cartridge a meaningful boost in performance. As much as I love the 10mm and pair my carbines with handguns I can't see it in a carbine.
There is no such thing as 10mm +p. That is marketing BS. SAAMI pressure is 37,500psi. The problem is that in the last 20yrs many ammo companies have been loading their 10mm offerings to 40s&w power levels which is around 35k psi. That could be the difference in some of the cycling issues reported. Just for reference, the 45acp maxes out around 23k psi for the +p rounds. He had some trouble with his low power handloads not cycling. Not surprising, given the bolt weight.
That said, I downloaded the User manual, and what you get is the manual for the .45, with no mention of recommended ammo for the 10mm. .45ACP +P is acceptable in the 19309 model, so I'd expect that 10mm+P would also be ok in the 19307model. Might want to verify that with Ruger tho.
