Sweet, when they add 9mm all the beaches will be happy.
I wonder how much the bolt weighs on this bugger! The 45 is heavy enough.

Overall weight is the same. 7.1lbs (unloaded) according to Ruger. So the bolt is likely the same weight, but probably has a stronger buffer spring due to the heavier recoil of the 10mm.

They might come out with a 9, but there's a whole world of competition they might have some trouble with from a profitability standpoint. And then there's the political "blow your lungs out" pothole to avoid.

I'm hoping that somebody comes up with a better trigger for the LC.

The 45 does have a light spring, I happen to like it. I have a CZ Scorpion witch has a pretty stout recoil spring, probably why they sell oversize cocking handles.

As much as I love the 10mm and pair my carbines with handguns I can't see it in a carbine.

He had some trouble with his low power handloads not cycling. Not surprising, given the bolt weight.

That said, I downloaded the User manual, and what you get is the manual for the .45, with no mention of recommended ammo for the 10mm. .45ACP +P is acceptable in the 19309 model, so I'd expect that 10mm+P would also be ok in the 19307model. Might want to verify that with Ruger tho.

Interesting report on this new addition to the lineup. Very little or no actual range reports due to how recently it was released. I have many 10's in both revolver and semiautomatic offerings. I'm going to keep monitoring media in the weeks to come for a detailed range report or two. I hope to handle one in the near future. Time will tell if I make the purchase. My recreational funds have been diverted towards lever action rifles recently. I need a 45 Colt carbine and the cost of the new arrival will only slow me down. Great to have options.

There is no such thing as 10mm +p. That is marketing BS. SAAMI pressure is 37,500psi. The problem is that in the last 20yrs many ammo companies have been loading their 10mm offerings to 40s&w power levels which is around 35k psi. That could be the difference in some of the cycling issues reported. Just for reference, the 45acp maxes out around 23k psi for the +p rounds.
