I just installed a MCarbo LC carbine spring kit in the FCU of my LC 10mm carbine. Big improvement, and IMO worth the cost and effort. Went from long mushy 7lb pull to shorter and less mushy 4.2 lb pull. The installation video from MCarbo needs some updates for the 45 and 10mm. If anyone is doing this PM me and I'll save you some head scratching trying to match the video to what you're looking at.

I have the .45, and thought about doing that, but haven't made up my mind yet. Did you get the trigger also? Any other aftermarket stuff on it - optic, etc? Show us a pic. :)

Will post a pic when I can. All I changed was the FCU springs, used the stock trigger. Very different feel, and much improved. I was checking function at 25 yards on our plate racks and dueling posts, I have a Trijicon RMR type 2 1MOA LED on it on a LaRue mount. Really happy with this setup.

Thanks. And btw, welcome to the forum. :)

This is how I have set things up so far. I keep a G20 in the vehicle and this scabbard setup. On the bag are 3 15 round G20 magazines, and on the reverse side a 30 round magazine and a pouch with a QD Giles sling and cleaning kit. I get occasional callouts for a wounded large animal needing euthanizing, sometimes you want to keep more distance on that than the G20 comfortably gives. I feel a lot more confident on 50 yard plus shots with the new trigger arrangement. If I need 10mm RIGHT NOW I have the G20, if the situation allows for a little deployment time, the LC Carbine is deployable in about 15 seconds. It's pretty low profile when all packed up.

Only other mod to the carbine was to put some soft velcro on the part of the stock that catches your face hair and makes life miserable. So far so good.

Nice scabbard set up you got there. Where did you get it? You sound like you might be a park ranger or similar?

I've got a Holsun 510c on my .45. Also a good compensator, which works well with +P ammo. You might think about that for yours. Some 10mm is pretty hot even in a pistol, and you're probably getting a good boost with the long barrel. A comp might make a noticeable difference.

Bought mine right after they hit the local shop, almost exactly 1 year ago, as a partner for my G21, so I've had a while to fool around with it. No complaints so far anyway.

I carried an AR9 PDW in one of those scabbards strapped to the back of the passenger seat for a while. Worked well enough although never really needed. Became disenchanted with AR9 and switched to folding stock AR PDW in 300AAC and different carry setup that is more accessible. More range. More accurate. More reliable. ;)
