Late Old Model Super Blackhawk

I find myself with 2 3-screw SBHs. The earlier is a 1966 gun with its original box.

The older is, I think, a very late gun. SN is 80-59936 which is higher than the last number Ruger shows on their serial number list for the SBH. 1973 I presume. It has what I believe is a factory high polish finish. Is the highest SN for an OM SBH known? Was Ruger doing high polish on these at the end?

80-64750 Is the highest number shown in 2 publications I have.

High polish started at s/n 4xxx & became standard on all Supers, according to John Dougan.

Sadly, the Ruger factory "lists" are not always quite accurate. The serial number of 80-64750 appears to be the highest known. And yes,, your gun is a 1973.
